FLAC format
This file is encoded in the FLAC lossless format, a free, un-copy-protected format that offers CD quality (better than mp3). To play FLAC files, there’s a couple good free programs: VLC is nice, but if you use Windows, my new favorite is the unfortunately named Foobar2000. This program has good music library features and implements ReplayGain, which makes for a much better listening experience.
