| Other Info | Guitarist George Kormendi and I recently discovered that we both have a stack of lovely original tunes that have hardly seen daylight, and a shared interest in performing classic and underappreciated jazz repertoire. In the course of a few weeks of rehearsal and recording, we've also found much common ground in our playing, particularly in our appreciation of subtle harmonic details, and in our preference for fewer notes and more feeling. Our appearance at Caffe Vivaldi marks the maiden voyage of what will hopefully be a long and fruitful collaboration. We'll play from 6-7pm. There's no cover, though we may pass the hat.
