About Me

I’m a pianist, composer, and freelancer willing to work on anything that increases the quantity and quality of music in the universe. Brooklyn, NY is my home base, and I perform regularly in the New York City area and occasionally elsewhere on the East Coast. I play and compose with several bands and solo artists, and also as a solo artist and with my own group, the Tony Melone Trio. Aside from performing, I record and produce CD’s, teach lessons, and sometimes build websites. My background and training is mainly in jazz, but I enjoy playing many different styles of music.
